A Haunting by UntamedUnwanted A Haunting by UntamedUnwanted
Have you ever had a fear? The type that begins from the bottom of your toes and runs through the top of your head?

I have nightmares, all the time. They usually happen just as I am falling asleep and if I am not relaxed later on, continue through the night. (For once I have someone to hold me and calm me when I have bad dreams. He is teaching me how to sleep again.)

All my nightmares revolve around a house. It is on top of a hill, has someone peeking out of a window and terrible things happen in there. The house always looks the same. Too many windows, a dead tree before it and a chimney that never ever smokes.

It is always so cold in there and a wind, a beckoning wind blows before it, calling one in.

But its just a dream right?

Maybe...maybe not.

Imagine my shock when I actually found the house that is a regular character in my nightmares on my trip to Stockholm.

I lived in a house that looked like this it was haunted, when I was a small boy I had awful nightmares there I could not move, I could not scream. My sister my mother and my grandmother did not seem to have any problems with the house. The west wall of the house would bang like a temdemdous drum, and the picture of my dead grand father would fly off the wall, we had a lot of bad luck growing up in that house. I learned later in life a rumor that my grandfather may have murdered and buried Three black men and put them under the foundation of that house. The house is torn down now The foundation is still there if I had the money I would take the time to see if their bones where there under that hard stone, I would bury them in some nice place. I would pray that their Souls would rest in peace, and that they would understand and forgive me.

Wow, that must have been creepy. Did you learn anything about the house in Stockholm? Like, did something happen there?

I would be taken away in a violent maelstrom of obsession until I walked over the threshold of that doorway.

Oh dear. I wonder, when you saw it, did you ask around about it or just go on? Maybe you'd have found out why it was haunting you.

my greatest nightmare normally feature me abandoned in ghastly distorted places with people I know in reality... yet I don't. Sometimes the scariest are those that have me drawing and terrible things come out of my work...
