"Ever worried about what the world thought of you?"
"Nope. I only worry about what I think of me."
"What do you think about you?"
"That I am a broken-eyed, converse-reject-wearing wise ass."
"Really? And what do you call yourself?"
"I call me proud."
"Oh."
"What do you call yourself?"
"I am the grade school version of the heartbroken girl, who can't play the guitar so she strums a ukulele instead, who can't paint so she draws terrible pictures in graphite that keeps giving way."
"I see you doing it again. Put the fucking pen down right now and stop it."
"Stop what?"
"Doing that."
"What? I was just writin-"
"You're cutting yourself to pieces with shark-toothed words again. Just because a sword is a beautiful, glittering object of honour doesn't mean it always has an honorable purpose."
"Do you really think I am a sword?"
"Nope. I think you're beautiful, glittering object of honour. And the thing with honour is, it makes the world turn to stare in awe."

Is It Wrong?
Is it wrong
That I glance up at the clouds,
Feeling the wind through my hair,
And dream of a mystifying land
Where one can be accepted no matter what?
Is it wrong
That I choose to wear jeans down past my heels,
Baggy and ripped at the knees,
Unlike all the other boys that wear athletic
Shorts, so unscathed and clean?
Is it wrong
That I ask people about their troubles,
Sometimes doing all in my mortal power
To help them surpass the simple,
Even ones I have not defeated myself?
Is it wrong
That while the few friends I have
Dance around giddily and go to
The most extreme only to impress,
But I only hang back in silent content

History Is Never Made By Those Who Behave
We are taught of former glories
The burden of our history
Weighs heavy on infant shoulders
As it does our enemies
But I feel safe and protected
On this the day of the Moon
Unlike the remaining six days
When impending horror consumes
Wind chill woes on the moors this morn
Freedom spoke in a foreign tongue
I did not understand her chants
Percussion did not help her song
The stench of death, the drums of war
In time with the beat my heart gave
History is never written
By the flocks that choose to behave
So raise hell but come together
Unite as we are all the same
Keep the lion's heart within you
Your fiery temper learn to tame

In Case You're Bored
In Case You're Bored:
For those who are bored with seeing teenage relationships on the FP. Here is a bonus, Disturbed-style, Chen piece to entertain you all.
What Lives Inside of Me:
Locked away inside
Dreaming of evil rising up in me
Let me play with your-
I will break through the walls of sanity
Leave me pure inside
Take away all of my humanity
Will I kneel before-
The corpses stained by the need for your sanctity?
Will you be mine? Or will I break you again-
The beast is swelling up inside of me
A temptuous lie, from the moment that you denied
The demon that you knew you grew to be
The swirling mist of a blood red fog...

So somebody stole my words today. He claims he wrote them. I was about to stop writing all together, and then I realised, that means he wins. He isn't going to take down my words.
I wrote this piece of Honour to remind myself what it means, and how what is honourable (the truth) always manages to win somehow. That there will always be justice in the world, even when you cannot see it.
EDIT: And he pulled down all the work! Thank you guys!! I could not have done this without your help!

I could probably favorite your work all day but I must go to sleep
(Please let me sleep TAT)
You just have this way of turning things into stories and I want to consume them all--in a respectable manner of course, I don't steal pieces because that's dirty >:V
