"I wish you would give it back to me."

"Why? You'll just break it again."

"It's my heart. I will do whatever the hell I want with it."

"Yeah? Well, you take terrible care of things that are yours."

"Fine. Keep it. I am equal parts concrete and soul anyway."

"You say that, but I'm not entirely sure that you are. I think you're deep, and fragile and broken, and that makes you beautiful."

"Again, concrete and soul. "

"I wish you wouldn't make this so hard."

"So hard? I'm making this easy. You gave me dreams of half feathered swans and a stupid house on an endless beach and a city made of an ocean, and now you're taking it all away. But at least I had them for a while."

"Don't…be that way."

"I am going to be awake every single night and wish for a shooting star, so I can wish upon that shooting star to wish thoughts of you away."

"I wish this could be easier on you. You gave me so much and so many too."

"So much of love and so many wishes?"

"No, so much wishing and so many loves."

"Please give it back to me."

"I have to keep a piece of you, don't you understand? I do not want to forget you."

"But it's my god damned heart."

"If you liked it so much you wouldn't have given it to me in the first place."

"Fuck you."
I seriously need start sleeping earlier. Also, I long for the day we hear about Brandon, a broken eyed boy and Ella, an ink wristed girl who happen to be nobodies, but have a love that lasts centuries.

No more tumblr or news for me until the Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson break up story is no longer front page news. I like my cereal paparazzi free and full of nutritious information about health, science and politics.

Seriously though, the way they are profitting off these people's misery is sick. I do not like twilight, but no one deserves someone prolonging this kind of pain longer than necessary.

. . .i'm far too gone to be ever full
so many people have pieces of me, and i'm nearly gone
sometimes, i wish i could just pull myself together
but i'm so scattered and so apart, that i cant ever wish for that. . .

You are a bright and shining light. If I have a piece of your heart let me know so that I may nurture it as much as possible. Then, when you need it back, it will be stronger than before. You carry a part of mine with you always.

The ending was interesting - reminded me of Glass House.

Also, it reminded me of something which is actually a good point on part of one of the actors in this work: the heart; curiously, it reminded me of Hardy - a glimpse over his "Jude the Obscure" and "Return of the Native" because "Tess of d'Uberville" was just too depressing (straight out of the beginning in fact). What I love about the person is that he's constantly telling the other person exactly what anyone feels when they speak of giving a part of one's self away - I feel that way when with my parents and my family, in that yes I'm happy to be with them and I'm grateful that I'm with them, but too much love is encroaching. Its the same as with Stephen Dedalus so far in "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" - its the perfect recipe to generate pessimism and (in a way) animate the polar side of one's persona.

Though on a side note, I stopped reading the news a long time ago - found it too miserable for my taste (seriously speaking, the news I have is all violence, court intrigue, and homicide).

And no I disagree - the way they are profitting off these people's misery is disgusting and wretched; but coming from a media that's willing to tap into phones of Catholic Church vicitms, and coming from a media that made the London heist of last year (with all the bombast of skinhead culture being the "UK Spring") AND the death of Princess Diana and all its rot, I digress.

It really is funny - our hearts are the most precious parts of us, and yet very few actually protect it very well. Not as well as we should, anyway. I, personally, am beginning to doubt the very existence of my own, my emotions are so muted at times...

This did a work on me, leaving me, for a moment, lost utterly to memories that should have been left under the dust. Made it hard to write a comment on it. But that last caused a part of my soul to sing again, not in hope or joy, but in profuse defiance. Damn the arrogance of one who would think they can abate the pain of a broken heart, they will find furious fire to let them know what it really feels like.

I absolutely love it. A beautiful read :salute:

I love how raw the emotions are in this, and how so many people can relate to it :) It's beautifully written as always

Also: celebrities are overrated. The rest of us get on with our lives just fine without crews of camera men following us around. I'd rather read about something worthwhile, like a new scientific discovery that could change our lives for the better

I really like this. Even though it's only dialogue, we get enough of the story. Very well written.
