Bi by birth, proud by CHOICE by UntamedUnwanted Bi by birth, proud by CHOICE by UntamedUnwanted
I had an argument with my parents last night, who tried to tell me SCIENCE said that being bisexual is a choice and that what I was, was just plain WRONG because SCIENCE didn't approve of it. I took one of my old illustrations and printed this out as a t-shirt. I'm going to wear it tomorrow to prove a point.

SCREW what science says.

I have never heard of science saying being bisexual is a choice. I HAVE heard of science proving that homosexuality and transsexualism is a developmental thing, and I'm pretty sure bi was in there too.
So :P your parents

 You get the science argument, I get the religious one and that hurts a hell of a lot more than whatever humans think of.

I also hate the "it's just a phase" excuse. I know people already said that but I thought it was worth mentioning again.

I know how you feel!!!! My mom said to me how she thinks bi's are just confused homo's or het's. Then when I defended bi's she asked me if I was. Well HOW could I be if there "is no bisexual". I hate that we are always explained away as being "confused". I know my feelings. I don't know yet whether I'll end up committed to a man or a woman but I can have a committed relationship. I hope haters read this.

[link] <- BAM. show this to your parents. Or read it and quote it. It never stops amazing me how parents can be so... NEGATIVE about their children. So here's the REAL science of Homosexuality/Bisexuality.

There was actually a study (the only one of its kind that I know of) that followed a bunch of women through their lives. While several became MORE queer, none, not one, became more straight :D
