"Hi, I'm-"
"I know who you are."
"You do?"
"You're the guy who thinks he's invisible."
"I have a name-"
"It isn't important. Because you really don't think it's important."
"All right. Since we've started out this way, let me just tell you, I know you too."
"Yeah?"
"You're the girl who is broken."
"I am not broken."
"You're the girl whose eyes close every night and open the next morning, only to find you have never slept at all."
"I sleep well. Besides-"
"You're the girl who dreams of a happy ending even though she has seen seventeen...no, eighteen unhappy ones in her eighteen years."
"Happy endings are over rated. And you're-"
"You're the girl who wants something bigger, something stronger, just so the weakness in her body becomes something so much more."
"You don't understand weakness the way-"
"You're the girl whose heart broke when she was so young, and she fixed it back together with superglue, but cannot ignore the cracks."
"Superglue makes for a good companion, especially when-"
"You're the girl who runs away from love and is always up for a good fight because anger is the only emotion she can deal with without being hurt."
"A fight makes me stronger."
"You're the girl whose eyes shine only when they are as intense as they can ever be."
"And when is that?"
"When you're telling someone you know exactly who they are before they can even know your name."
My name is McKinley Wiens, and I've just recently started a blog based around literature, and one of the ideas I had was to post 1 piece of literature a day that I have found online and I quite love, accompanied by a short review and maybe a comment from the author! Would you by chance be willing to allow me to post a link to this page, and write my opinions on the piece on my blog, linking of course also to your DA page?
If not, no worries! If you are willing, I would love if you could also answer some or all of the answers below for me, to work into the blog post??
1. What inspired you to write the piece?
2. What does the piece mean to you?
3. How has literature as a whole, or literature communities on sites such as DevArt, affected your life?
4. Favorite novel?
5. Anything else you feel is relevant, and would like to have included in the post!
Thank you so much!!
If you allow me to use and link your piece I will tell you as soon as it is included into the blog!
1. I was very upset one day by someone I cared for and thought about the things that I wanted in a boy. I realised I needed someone who challenged me and that was what led me to write this.
2. This piece was a coming of age piece for me. It inspired me to write a lot more and return to my love of writing everyday.
3. Literature communities inspire writers to keep writing and give valuable support and advice. Always remember that comments are constructive and supportive and see the ones that are not as even more of a reason to write.
4. Anything by Neil Gaiman. He is an absolute star in my eyes and inspires me to write so much.
5. Find your inspiration, your muse and hold it as tightly as you can.

My blog is focused around different aspects of literature, and how it affects our lives, as well as the importance of it in our lives! Would it be alright if I use the review of your work to accompany a short post on how dialogue can be used in various ways for different affects? Your piece would be an excellent addition to my ideas!
